A team from the Huntly unit of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were rated top for getting trapped drivers and passengers out of vehicles involved in a crash.

The team of watch manager Anthony Mitchell, crew managers Mark Allan and Ian Gunn, and firefighters Neesha Rollo, Mark Hanson and Jonathan Mooty, were the winners of an in-service competition at the Cambuslang training school.

They will now go forward to the final of the British Extrication Challenge in Hull from September 7-9.
