Swedish energy company Vattenfall will open the 18-turbine wind farm at Clashindarroch on June 26.

In an average year it is expected the wind farm will generate 110,000 megawatt hours of renewable power.

Anyone living in Huntly, Tap o' Noth, Cabrach, Glass and Strathbogie is invited to attend the event.

There will also be a pop up exhibition at Dean's of Huntly from 9.30am to 4pm.

The wind farm will contribute £185,000 to a community fund each year.

Places on the tour of the wind farm can be booked by phoning 01434 611 300.
