Aberdeenshire public asked to help in Kevin Bartlet search

THE Aberdeenshire public have been asked to help in the search for a missing North East man.

Kevin Bartlet has been missing since Monday.

Kevin Bartlet was last seen on Monday around 12.30pm in the Ellon area.

He was driving a Mercedes A180 sports hatchback which in metallic grey, and had a personalised number plate.

Inspector Jamie Harrison, of Formartine Community Police Team, said: "We have had a positive response to our appeal to the public and I would like to thank the people who have contacted us. Every report of a sighting will be thoroughly followed up.

"We understand that Kevin may have travelled in his car further north and we would appeal to anyone who has seen this vehicle to contact us.

"It is a distinctive vehicle, a Mercedes A180 sports hatchback which in metallic grey, and has a personalised number plate B13 KEV.

"Kevin has not gone missing before and as time goes on we are increasingly worried for his welfare. We just want to find him and confirm he is well."

Kevin is described as around 6ft 3ins, of slim build with short brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen he is thought to have been wearing dark trousers and a black polo shirt.

Anyone with information or thinks they have seen Mr Bartlett is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
