DAVIDSON (Banff). The Davidsons would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for their attendance at Moray Crematorium on 29th November when we said goodbye to Andrew, also for all the kindness, messages of sympathy and phone calls received since his passing. The consideration and professionalism of AD Walker, Funeral Directors, was exemplary while celebrant Robin Wiseman did an excellent job. From 2017, Andrew's life was enhanced by the presence of carers employed by Eildon Support Services, too many to mention by name but the attentions of each and every one was sincerely appreciated. In addition, the collective expertise of NHS Grampian and associated services did so much for Andrew in his later years. At the service £367 was raised in a collection for Alzheimer Scotland with more being donated later. Afterwards the Cullen Bay Hotel, overlooking the sea, was an ideal choice for people to gather and share memories of a much-loved master mariner.
