Police appeal for damaged vehicles

Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of hit and run incidents on Swan Road in Ellon, and other residential streets nearby.

At around 0010 hours on Wednesday, February 26, Police were called to the Swan Road and Barratt Drive areas of Ellon, following reports of a Black pick-up style vehicle colliding with multiple parked cars and then failing to stop.

Police are carrying out enquiries which include CCTV, and any residents with private CCTV covering the above areas are asked to check their footage between 2330 on Tuesday,February 25 and 0030 hours on Wednesday,February 26.

Residents in this area are also urged to check their vehicles to ensure there is not any unreported damage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number PS-20200225-4018.
