The community have shown their support for Green's Of Ellon, formerly Costcutters, with the store's official launch seeing staff kept busy all day.

Although they opened the doors before Christmas, the team behind Green's recently invited locals to come along and find out what was new at the shop while also enjoying tasters, special offers and entertainment for all ages.

The store boasts various counters and a selection of products from local independent businesses.

Amongst the day's entertainment was face painting, musical performances and a visit from magician Dean Spruce.

Taking to social media after the event, the store said: "Thank you Ellon!

"What a turnout at Saturday's launch event, thank you a million!

"A massive thank you to everyone who came along, those whom were supporting from afar and couldn't head down, our wonderful team, the fabulous entertainers and all suppliers and other local businesses whom supported the event!"
