Ellon hosts hustings ahead of election

The people of Ellon and the surrounding area had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the four candidates which they can vote for in the General Election on December 12.

A hustings event was organised by Ellon Community Council and took place in Victoria Hall with all four candidates who are vying for the Gordon constituency seat in the UK Parliament attending and participating in a question and answer session to help voters make up their mind on who they wish to be represented by.

Those who live in the Gordon constituency will have the opportunity to vote for:

  • Colin Clark, Scottish Conservative And Unionist,
  • Heather Herbert, Scottish Labour Party
  • James Oates, Scottish Liberal Democrats, or
  • Richard Thomson, Scottish National Party.
