Members of the club extended their thanks to the members of Ellon RBL Pipe Band and Ythan Fiddlers who performed on the night, as well as to the various businesses who supported the event with donations of food or raffle prizes.

Ellon Bowling Club's Allan Giles said: "A big thanks to all who contributed and to those members and friends who turned up on the night.

"You helped to raise £500 which will go towards Ellon Bowling Club purchasing a defibrillator for the club members."
