To coincide with the launch of their new Alcohol Free bar, Ellon based brewer, BrewDog has expanded its core range of alcohol-free beers with two tasty new additions.

The move comes as the brewer continues its mission to prove that alcohol-free doesn’t have to equate to taste free, these two new beers bring all of the attitude, all of the flavour – but none of the alcohol.

Joining the line up are Wake Up Call, a breakfast Coffee Stout, and Hazy AF an alcohol free take on its existing New England IPA, Hazy Jane.

Wake Up Call 0.5 per cent - Coffee Stout is described as a toasty, chocolatey coffee on the nose, with a subtle coffee derived bitterness and smooth milk sugar finish.

Hazy AF 0.5 per cent - Has tropical fruits and grassy notes mix it up, with a slight grainy base from the oats and wheat for a smoother ride.

BrewDog's bar expansions which continue apace saw them launch a new bar dedicated to alcohol-free in central London.

The BrewDog AF Bar opened its doors las week and is the first of the company’s global bars to feature a line-up solely devoted to drinks without alcohol.

It offers 15 taps of draught alcohol-free craft beer, a selection of alcohol-free spirits and Designated Cider, the new alcohol-free cider from Hawkes.

The bar also serves food, including burgers, salads and buffalo wings, as well as a series of healthy specials and weekend brunches.

Visitors will be able to take part in a programme of on-going activities such as Hip Hop Karaoke, Dabbers Bingo, Famous First Words.

BrewDog has also announced Drink All You Can Jan, an initiative that will see all of its bars offering free refills of all alcohol-free beers throughout the month of January.

BrewDog boss James Watt said: “Drinkers opting for low or no alcohol are in danger of compromising on quality, taste and experience, and that’s just the beer – forget about places in which to enjoy it.

“We are going to change that.

"We exist to be a point of difference, and our first BrewDog AF Bar is just that.

“Alcohol-free does not need to be synonymous with taste-free.

"Drink All You Can Jan’ is our anti Dry January.

"Whether you have cut alcohol out or are cutting back, we want to show that alcohol-free doesn’t mean compromising on quality or taste.”
