Bin collection issues

Aberdeenshire Council has asked residents in Mintlaw and on the Stuartfield Rural, Strichen Rural, and New Pitsligo Rural bin collections to use an alternative collection date this week following icy conditions.

A spokesman explained: "Due to icy road conditions, we have had to cancel our waste collections in these areas today.

"Please leave your bin out by 7am on Friday December 20 and we will return to empty them."
