Buckie's RNLI lifeboat William Blannin's latest call-out saw her head to a spot between Hopeman and Lossiemouth.

A spokesman for the lifeboat station said: "The crew were paged at 8.19pm on Friday, July 10 after reports of a creel boat in difficulty off the coast between Hopeman and Lossiemouth.

"Once on scene, the lifeboat stood by while the casualties were safely and successfully transferred onto MIRO [Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation] rescue craft before returning home.

"The lifeboat returned to her moorings at around 9pm."

The call-out was the third time Buckie lifeboat has been called into action since the lockdown began in March.
