Webinars set sights on redundancy issues

A NEW webinar programme has been unveiled to help those who have been made redundant or face the threat of redundancy.
The rolling series of online events focus on Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE), which is the Scottish Government’s initiative for responding to redundancy situations. It is delivered by Skills Development Scotland.
PACE is a partnership of organisations dedicated to providing people with information, advice and guidance if they are made redundant or are facing redundancy.
It can help people take stock, consider their career options and make the decisions that are right for them. All services are free and confidential.
The webinars include an introduction to PACE and the services available.
This Tuesday and Thursday will see an Introduction to PACE and Redundancy Support take place from 11am to 12 noon, followed by (on Tuesday) Positive Steps – Career Management Skills and Jobsearch between 2pm and 3pm.
On Wednesday Get Noticed – CV and Covering Letters (2pm-3pm) is on the menu and the 2pm-3pm slot on Thursday will see First Impressions Count – Interview Techniques run.
