Careers in social care will be at the heart of a forthcoming Moray jobs fair.

The event, organised by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), is expected to welcome a wide range of employers offering many vacancies within the sector.

The fair will be a great way to speak with potential employers face-to-face in a relaxed environment, collect information on employers, ask them questions, apply for jobs, or even have a mini-informal interview on the day.

Keyworkers who would like to bring along their customers who require support are welcome to attend.

Currently signed up to attend the jobs fair are: Ark Housing; Community Integrated Care; Cornerstone; Enable; Homecare Scotland; Moray Council; Real Life Options; UHI Moray.

This list is subject to change.

Also hoping to attend the event are Enable Works with the aim of discussing a Social Care Course that they are delivering for DWP customers who wish to enter the social care sector. The course will run over September 12-23.

The jobs fair will be held on Friday, August 26 between 11am and 12 noon at Moray Pathways Hub, The Inkwell, Francis Place, Elgin.
