A DOG owner has been singing the praises of a team of shoe repairers who have helped her pet to run around again.

Nine-month-old Dylan – a golden retriever-northern Inuit cross – was born with a deformed paw. However, his mobility has been hugely improved after staff at Timpson’s in Elgin took him to heart and made him a bespoke boot.

Owner Helena Southward, who lives in Titness Street in Buckie, said: “Dylan was born with three and a half legs as his front right paw curled back up towards his leg - it looked like a dislocation - instead of extending outwards so it touched the ground.

“It’s a rare condition, with most of those dogs who do get it being put down.
