Rise in fish landings at Buckie Harbour continues

THE upward trend in fish landings at Buckie Harbour continued last week.

Nearly 400 boxes of fish were landed at Buckie Harbour last week.

In all six vessels took 395 boxes of fish/prawns/squid shore, compared to 258 boxes the week before. No bags of clams were landed.

The vessels landing their catches were: Our May; Lily Oak VI; Lee Rose II; Boy Sam; Flourish; Chloe Ella.

A single cargo vessel docked at Buckie Harbour last week, the Dutch-registered MV Eems Coast. She imported 1106.000 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on January 18 before sailing light to North Sea for orders January 21.
