THERE'S an older gentleman seeking his forever home in our latest Pet of the Week feature.

Senior citizen Duffy would love to find a new home.
Senior citizen Duffy would love to find a new home.

Duffy is a beautiful 12-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier who is ready to come bounding into his new family’s arms. He has been in the care of the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for 121 days.

This dashing chap would love to find a quiet home where he can learn new tricks and continue his positive training, socialisation and good doggy etiquette.

Duffy has a long-term medical condition in relation to his age that his new owners would need to keep eye on, but it doesn't stop him living his best life.

He would prefer an adult only home with no other animals, but he is learning to be calm out on walks when he sees other dogs. His new home would need previous experience in teaching dogs like Duffy that other animals aren't that bad.

A secure garden is a must so he can play with his favourite toys, and relax on the sofa when he's done with his adventures for the day.

If you can give Duffy his forever home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/6014-duffy
