Moray Climate Assembly to spotlight zero carbon support

THERE is still time to sign up for this year's Moray Climate Assembly.

The keynote speaker at the online event will be Helen Lavery, Regional Engagement Partner from Zero Waste Scotland.

This special business and social enterprise focused Moray Climate Assembly hosted in partnership between Moray Chamber of Commerce and tsiMoray.

Ms Lavery will discuss different models that businesses can use to help the transition to zero carbon, as well as sharing important information about the financial and other practical support available to businesses, social enterprises and other organisations to make this possible.

The focus of the event is to create a network of support and shared learning for businesses and social enterprises in Moray Scotland. The intention is for this to be the first of an ongoing series of support for local businesses and social enterprises.

On the agenda will be: Alternative business models – Circular Economy; Local examples of Circular Economy in action; Stimulating ideas for your business; Financial and other support available; Next steps and close.

The assembly is due to be held on Thursday, September 30 from 10am to 12 noon.
