THERE'S a more mature lady seeking a forever home in our latest Pet of the Week.

Looking for a new home this week is Jade.
Looking for a new home this week is Jade.

Jade is a 10-year-old, female labradoodle cross, who is currently in the care of the Scottish SPCA’s Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Drumoak, near Aberdeen.

A friendly chilled lady, she will happy curl up in her bed or wander about on walks sniffing away… but she may surprise you with bursts of energy when she plays with her favourite toys!

A home that has experience with owning dogs would be preferred for Jade, as because she is in her older years she is already set in her ways. However, some positive reinforcement training wouldn’t go a miss as the SSPCA firmly believe you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Jade is a very placid gal so could be rehomed with another canine companion pending a successful introduction or with older teenage children.

A secure garden would be needed for Jade so she can wander around and play freely in her new home.

If you think you can give Jade her forever home, please apply via the SSPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/4248-jade
