Man arrested after Buckpool incident

A MAN has been arrested following an incident in Buckie on Saturday.

Locals reported a significant police presence as officers swooped on an address at Letterfourie Road in the Buckpool area of the town.

As a result of the incident, a man was arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a disturbance at a property on Letterfourie Road in Buckie around 6.40pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020.

"A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, 21 September."

It was also reported locally that an ambulance was in attendance at the incident.
