Large rise in fish landings at Buckie Harbour

THERE was a significant increase in landings at Buckie Harbour last week.

A total of 465 boxes of fish/prawn/squid and 47 bags were brought ashore, a significant improvement on the 58 boxes and 37 bags recorded the previous week.

In all, nine vessels brought their catches to the quayside: Our May; Boy Sam; Brantia; Lily Oak; Chloe Ella; Favour; Emmaley; Emerald Dawn; Orcadis.

No cargo vessels called at Buckie Harbour last week.
