IT was a case of the only way is up when it came to landings last week at Buckie Harbour.

Just the one vessel landed at Buckie Harbour last week.

The previous week had seen just a single box of fish/prawns/squid landed and 82 bags of clams.

However, the week just ended, while quiet, saw 153 boxes and no bags brought ashore.

Just the single vessel – Summerton – landed, compared to three the week before.

A single cargo vessel called at the harbour, the MV Fluvius Kenn (Barbados), which arrived light from Rosyth to load fabricated goods. She sailed on February 19 bound for for Dundee.
