POLICE are warning drivers travelling on the A98 to take extra care due to the prevailing high winds.

Police are advising drivers on the A98 Cullen to Banff road to beware of high winds blowing dust into the road.

Dust is also being blown off fields near the road leading to restricted visibility in certain areas.

Drivers should reduce their speed to suit the conditions.
