MORAY businesses are being invited to reach out to senior secondary school students with advice about the world of work.
Run by Devloping the Young Workforce (DYW) Moray, the #MyAdvicetoYou 2021 campaign aims to demonstrate young people about to leave school how supportive businesses are in Moray and also allow them young people to receive real and relevant advice from potential future employers.
A spokesperson for DYW said: "We are now coming up to what would have been the start of senior exams (Monday, April 26).
"Many young people are going through a stressful time, dealing with the pandemic, receiving offers for university/not receiving offers, potentially thinking their grades this year may hold them back, and also receiving/not receiving employment opportunities.
"This is the second year that there has been an impact on young people's final exam results. Therefore, it is important that we as a community support them by ensuring we provide young people with real advice to make them feel a little less anxious as they patiently wait for their final results in August."
To get involved, businesses can send DYW a photo and a quote with their advice or, alternatively, record a 30-second video.
On week commencing May 3 DYW Moray will share the pieces of advice received across their social media channels and will tag participating companies in the post
Photos and quotes or videos should be submitted to Emma.Milton.Moray@uhi.ac.uk by Monday, April 19
