WHILE the pandemic did its best to wreck another festive season, pupils at Findochty Primary were determined to celebrate Christmas as best they could.

Many of the usual features that mark out a school Christmas party sadly had to remain on the sidelines for the second year on the trot thanks to the Covid regulations. This included dancing in the hall and the weeks of practice running up to it and games with kids from other classes.

However, there was still scope for some Covid-safe festive fun at the school. Instead of joining together, each class held their own party in the hall on different days in the run up to Christmas.

There were plenty of colourful and creative Christmas jumpers to be seen as the youngsters enjoyed some juice and festive treats.

As they start a new term in a new year, no doubt these pupils and others up and down the country will be hoping that it will be business as usual when the festive season swings round again.
