The pensioner killed in Sunday’s horror smash has been named.
A two vehicle crash at around 11.30am yesterday (Sunday) claimed the life of popular 77-year-old Cullen man Brian Lawrence.
The blue Rover 75 he was driving was in collision with a silver Renault Megane driven by former Portsoy man Kenny McKenzie (50), who was taken to hospital with a smashed ankle and badly injured leg. The 73-year-old passenger in the Rover was also taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital with serious injuries.
For a full report and tributes to Mr Lawrence, see tomorrow’s edition of the Banffshire Advertiser.
