This coming Saturday drivers will be invited to take a weekend off the chore of washing the car and bring it along to Cullen fire station instead for a spruce up in exchange for a donation.

The charity car wash will get under way at 10am and is set to run through until 3pm.

Proceeds from the event are set to be shared between Keiran's Legacy and the Firefighters' Charity.

Keiran's Legacy, which was founded in memory 16-year-old Moray youth Keiran McKandie who was killed in 2016 when the mountain bike he was riding and a car collided. The charity fundraises to provide automated external defibrillators in local communities.

The Firefighters' Charity offers specialist, lifelong support of many different kinds tailored to individual needs to members of the firefighting community across the country.
