His funeral is set to take place at 2pm at Burnside cemetery, Rathven.

Due to the current restrictions in place due to the lockdown only 20 people will be allowed to attend at the graveside. However, the family are inviting all those who wish to pay their final respects to join them by spacing themselves out around the cemetery in accordance with social distancing and other relevant guidelines.

Well-wishers are further invited to line the route of Mr Mayne's final journey from his home at Whispering Meadows in Buckie at 1.40pm. From there the cortege will head down High Street towards Mayne's Coaches at Cluny Lane before continuing down Blairdaff Street and then along West Church Street.

It will then make its way down McLaren's Brae en route to the firm's current depot at March Road Industrial Estate where there will be a short pause before the final leg of the journey to Rathven.

After the service, those who wish are invited back to the depot for light refreshments, again under properly social distanced conditions.
