Buckie Ladies bag fund-raising boost

THERE was a Christmas boost in store for Buckie Ladies Devlopment FC when they held a fund-raising bag pack.

Buckie's Co-op store laid out the welcome mat for a team team drawn from the girls and ladies sections of the club.

One of those delighted with their days work was Buckie Ladies manager Mel Smith.

She said: "On behalf of Buckie Ladies Development FC we would like to say a massive thank you to each and everyone of you who donated and supported our bag packing fundraiser on Saturday, December 21.

"We made an amazing total of £463.61.

"Thank you to the Co-op for having us again this year and everyone for their kind generosity."

Ms Smith also praised the fund-raising team, especially the under-11and under-13 girls representatives.
