JUST over 300 boxes of fish, prawns and squid were landed at Buckie Harbour during this week.

In all 25 vessels brought there catches ashore, with 326 boxes recorded along with 314 bags of clams.

The boats were: Emmaley; Jackdaw; Alisa; Skua; Lily Oak VI; Brantia; Deeside; Transcend; Camm Alert; Boy Sam; Illustrious; Camann II; Beverly Ann; Intrepid; Blue-Eye; Summerton; Castlebay; Just Reward; Emerald Dawn; Our May; Cloudy; Amaryha; Friendly Isle; Chloe Ella; Sharona.

On the cargo front, a single vessel called at Buckie Harbour last week.

The MV Eems Spring (Dutch) imported 1933.120 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on Saturday, September 19 and exported 2232.50 tonnes of malting barley back to King's Lynn on Friday, September 25.
