Eleven-year-old Matthew-James McKay enjoyed recording his first CD so much that he could not wait to get back into the studio.

He will release it next month with an album launch at Gardenstown Church.

The P7 Bracoden Primary School pupil said: “It was exciting to get back into the studio again, as I really enjoy it.

“I recorded 12 tracks, and it took about seven hours to finish.

“I am now preparing for the launch, where I will be singing a number of songs from the album.”
