Police are investigating vandalisms to two vehicles in the Beaconsfield Terrace area of Turriff.

The incidents are thought to have occurred sometime on the lead up to Tuesday, February 12 and saw a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Vauxhall Mokka sustain scratches to the bodywork of each.

It is estimated that the damage caused to the vehicles is valued at around a low four figure sum of money.

Investigating officer PC Alison Davis said: “Vandalism causes great inconvenience and expense to victims and will not be tolerated.

If anyone recalls seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the Beaconsfield Terrace area I would ask that they get in touch with police.

“Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2640 of February 13."
