THOUSANDS of people ignored drizzly weather on Sunday to descend on

As the weather cleared in the afternoon, show-goers were provided with a wide range of entertainment, from stunt motorcycle teams to show jumping.

There were also record entries in the cattle, horse and dog competitions over two days.

Bruce Ferguson, show secretary, said: "This year has been a fantastic event, with the total number of entries at an all-time high.
