Police appeal over Aberchirder theft

POLICE are investigating a break-in to a house on Main Street, Aberchirder, near to St Marnan’s church.

It happened between last Wednesday and Thursday during which cushions were stolen and damage caused to the property estimated at a low three-figure sum of money.

The area is used by dog walkers and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area.

Any person with information regarding this incident, or who saw any person acting suspiciously in that area, between those times is requested to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
