THE Green Tree restaurant and café in Castle Street, Banff is set to re-open

under new management – just five months after it went bust leaving a trail of debts.

The jinxed premises failed in December after just over a year in business.

It followed a previously unsuccessful food venture, Hudson’s cafe.

Now a publicity-shy owner thinks he can make it work where others have failed.

It is understood that the new operation could be underway in a matter of weeks.
