Flood warning issued

ABERDEENSHIRE Council is advising residents to remain vigilant as heavy rain returns to the area and a flood alert has been put in place.

Persistent and heavy rain is forecast for North Aberdeenshire until late this evening.

A council spokeswoman said: "We will continue to work with our partner agencies to monitor the situation and take necessary action if required."
