Body found off Portsoy coast

A MAN'S body has been found off the coast of Portsoy.

Police have confirmed that the body was discovered at around 7am today.

Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of Mr Loughrie (51), who was reported missing from the Findochty area Sunday, February 9, has been informed.

Extensive searches were conducted in the immediate and wider area around Findochty but no trace of him was uncovered.
